In this digital age, students have found a love for reading through digital platforms, and while they can use Chrome books to visit some reading sites, I find that the Kindle ensures students spend their entire time reading and engaging with a text, versus having the internet at their availability. \r\n\r\nAs a Kindle reader myself, I found an absolute joy in reading texts through digital devices, and I wanted to share this with my classroom. As I regained my love through reading this way, I wanted to inspire other students to give digital reading a try and see if this captures their interest. Students have been able to learn how to use each item to help themselves self regulate during class time. They have also learned how to notice when their body or mind might need a break and utilize the tools when necessary. \r\n\r\nThe students have especially appreciated having these items because our corned has become much more interactive and helpful with the addition of the items.
