I am a new teacher at a Dual Language program in Spanish. As a new teacher, setting up a new classroom can be very expensive but my hope is to be able to bring some items into my classroom to make it more flexible and culturally relevant. My hope is to get authentic literature for my students for my Spanish class. I would like to immerse them more in the language and help them find books they can see themselves portrayed. I also would like to get flexible seating options for my students to feel more comfortable in my class and ready to learn. My hope is that these two items will make my classroom a more productive, safe and fun area for my students.
