My students were so excited to open the new trains for the block center. There were several students who cooperatively built a very long train that traveled all around the block center. Now there is buzz in the block center that is alive with creativity. Students are building roads in so many different configurations, with purpose, and having the most fun. Some of our wiggliest friends have been less distracting to others as well. \r\n\r\nThe weighted animal has also given students a sensory item when they feel a bit overwhelmed. \r\n\r\nWe give them options to use the flexible seating daily and it has made a huge difference for them.
