This project allows students to showcase their identity, culture, and personal preferences. \r\nAs you can see on the pictures, a student decided to paint the Virgin of Guadalupe because their family is catholic and it is part of their identity. The student decided to gift this painting to their grandmother who plays a import role in their life as a parental role. Then the student who decided to paint a character or an anime describes his preference of anime. They believe there are important lessons they can learn that influenced their personal life. \r\n\r\nIt was great to see how each student decided to make their own painting to show to others.","fullyFundedDate":1746803096955,"projectUrl":"project/identity-project-though-the-use-of-art/9135822/","projectTitle":"Identity project though the use of art","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Constantino Sanchez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6089047"},{"teacherId":8707155,"projectId":9311717,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, my dance students are experiencing their art in a whole new way! The camera you funded has become an essential tool in our class; not just for capturing performances, but for enhancing how students learn, reflect, and grow. \r\n\r\nIn the past, students could only rely on my verbal feedback or their own memory to evaluate their work. Now, we can record rehearsals and performances in high quality, then watch them together to analyze posture, timing, and expression. This visual feedback helps students see their progress, understand corrections more clearly, and set personal goals.\r\n\r\nWhat excites them most is being able to see themselves as dancers. They love rewatching routines and noticing how their hard work pays off. It's also building their confidence; students are eager to perform knowing their achievements will be captured and celebrated.","fullyFundedDate":1746786429840,"projectUrl":"project/every-step-counts-filming-our-way-to-co/9311717/","projectTitle":"Every Step Counts: Filming Our Way to Confidence","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wilkerson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8707155"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_55365","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1222,"numTeachers":51,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":9,"percentWhite":4,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":81,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"24.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":67.0,"schoolId":55365,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Pacific High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Pacific High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/san-bernardino-city-unified-school-district/pacific-high-school/55365"}
