Due to technology restrictions in my new school district, all classroom tech hardware must be purchased directly by the district, and outside devices cannot be connected or supported.\r\n\r\nBecause of this restriction, I had to pivot my strategy to focus on another essential area of growth for my students: social-emotional connection and engagement. Rather than purchasing monitors, I decided to use these funds to build a collection of interactive games for our Friday classroom sessions. These games will give students a low-pressure, fun way to collaborate, build trust, and come out of their shells while connecting with their peers.
