When we are working through intense research or calculations in Biology class, students' eyes will sometimes begin to glaze over or worse, students will sometimes fall asleep at their desks! \r\n\r\nThat is when I know to call out \"Brain Break\" and we all head out the back door with the bin of activities. We have only used them a couple of times, so far. But, the response was great. All of the students were engaged and were especially interested in the hacky sacks and rolling the giant dice for exercise.
