The STEM manipulatives have given them opportunities to build, explore, problem-solve, and collaborate in a hands-on way. The new whiteboard has also become an important part of our daily math lessons. We use it to model strategies, work through problems together, and give students opportunities to show and explain their thinking. The book bins have helped us create a more organized and inviting classroom library, making it easier for students to find books and choose something they are excited to read.\r\n\r\nAs third-grade bilingual learners, my students are continuing to build their confidence in reading, writing, math, and problem-solving. These resources give them opportunities to learn by doing, practice new skills, and take more ownership of their learning. Our next steps are to continue using the STEM materials during hands-on challenges, the whiteboard during our math lessons, and the book bins to encourage students to read independently and regularly in Spanish.
