Your support has allowed us to restock our glassware and essential consumables, directly impacting the quality of education we provide to our budding scientists.\r\n\r\nThis gift does much more than just fill our cabinets; it fundamentally changes the way we conduct our weekly labs. It has enabled use to provide:\r\n\r\nSmaller Lab Groups - Previously, a shortage of intact glassware meant we had to reduce the number of lab groups, making each group larger. With our new inventory, we have increased the number of active stations. This allows students to work in smaller groups, ensuring every individual gets \"hands-on\" experience with the equipment rather than just observing from the sidelines.\r\n\r\nPrecision & Accuracy: Science is the art of measurement. Having a full set of graduated cylinders flasks means our students can finally practice the precision required for honors-level titration and stoichiometry labs.\r\n\r\nEnhanced Lab Safety: By replacing aging goggles and chipped or mismatched glassware with high-quality, heat-resistant borosilicate glass, we have significantly reinforced our safety protocols. \r\n\r\nWe are incredibly grateful for your investment in our classroom. You are officially an integral part of our solution.","fullyFundedDate":1770678465406,"projectUrl":"project/chemistry-lab-restock/9901489/","projectTitle":"Chemistry Lab Restock","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Vrudny","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5950794_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1539186764871","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5950794"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_31144","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1981,"numTeachers":82,"percentFrplEligible":24,"percentAsian":16,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":51,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":17,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":10,"gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"24.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":80.0,"schoolId":31144,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Whitney High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Whitney High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/rocklin-unified-school-district/whitney-high-school/31144"}
