My students greatly benefit from watching the models I provide and copying along on their device, if it is a message they want to say. Plus, research shows that the most important way to support students who use communication devices is by modeling with your own!\r\n\r\nThe iPad designated as an AAC device has also been put to use in supporting shared reading experiences with my learners. The 3D printer filament has allowed students to bring their digital designs from Tinkercad to life, deepening their understanding of the design process.\r\n\r\nThe laminator has been a huge hit—students love turning their posters, art, and research projects into long-lasting displays for our classroom walls. Our new markers, dry erase sets, and magnetic calendar have helped us stay organized and creative during lessons. The voice amplifier has made instruction more accessible for all students, especially during group work and outdoor projects.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the new supplies, they were thrilled—especially the 3D filament and cardboard cutters. Several students immediately started sketching new design ideas and couldn't wait to test their prototypes.\r\n\r\nNext, we're using these resources to continue our STEAM design challenges, combining creativity and engineering to solve real-world problems like renewable energy and water sustainability. Period products, including name-brand options, have made a huge difference for students who feel more comfortable using them. Hair bands have been especially helpful for students with longer hair during PE. Toothbrushes and toothpaste allow students to care for their dental health at school, and body wipes are essential for those who may not have daily access to a shower.\r\n\r\nThe snacks have been a lifeline for students who arrive at school without breakfast, ensuring they are ready to focus and learn.
