Students have 30 minutes to write and then about a dozen students share their writing with their class on a weekly revolving basis. Speaking and listening is an important 6th grade standard and a really healthy way to improve writing is by listening to other's writing. Many students also overcome their fear of public speaking in this way as their composition books serve as a friend while they read their writing.\r\n\r\nVocabulary and definitions associated with excerpt and novel reading are also included in the books. \r\n\r\nStudents were thrilled with the color cover choice, too!","fullyFundedDate":1742920895907,"projectUrl":"project/one-stop-writing-shop/9146613/","projectTitle":"One Stop Writing Shop","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. van der Zee","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp246163_orig.jpg?crop=333,333,x0,y2&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1617060162209","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/erinvanderzee"},{"teacherId":1530947,"projectId":9211891,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your incredible support in helping make our classroom wobble-friendly!
