I teach a 7th grade collaborative block meaning that another teacher and I collaborate in order to provide better modeling and scaffolding for all of our students. Our students are motivated, hard workers, but sometimes, without specific example, more abstract literary concepts are extremely hard for them to grasp. We are in the heart of a tech-oriented community, but have very few technological/informational resources across our school.
