It has been especially impactful for DECA competition preparation, where students rely on presentations, and timed practice to build confidence in public speaking and entrepreneurial strategy.\r\n\r\nWhat excited students most wasn't just the computer itself, but how it arrived. They were genuinely moved by the quick and generous response from our community—especially knowing that some donors were Foothill alumni. That sense of connection made students feel seen and valued. They recognized that their education matters to people beyond the classroom, and that support translated into renewed motivation and pride in their work.\r\n\r\nSeveral students have really thrived with this renewed access to technology. Students who were once hesitant speakers now eagerly volunteer to present, using visuals and data to strengthen their voice. Others who are deeply invested in DECA have used the computer to refine pitches, and collaborate more effectively as teams. Because of you, students aren't just learning content—they're building confidence, professionalism, and a belief that their ideas are worth sharing.
