Foothill High School is located in the northwestern region of Pleasanton and serves students in grades nine through twelve following a traditional calendar. At the beginning of the 2018-19 school year, 2,196 students were enrolled, including 7.6% in special education, 2.4% qualifying for English Language Learner support, and 9.2% qualifying for free or reduced price lunch. Foothill High School's mission is to educate, empower, and inspire all students to become caring, contributing citizens able to succeed in an ever-changing world. We are committed to focusing on instructional rigor, cultivating individual academic success, and creating a community of respect and responsibility.
