In that space, students collaborated, designed, sculpted, and problem-solved like true scientists and engineers.\r\nIn class, students researched an animal and its habitat, then used the clay to carefully create a 3D model of their animal and design a detailed habitat inside their container. \r\n\r\nNext, students will orally present their habitat models to the class, explaining how their animal survives and why the features in their habitat are important. This allows them to strengthen their speaking and listening skills while demonstrating their science understanding.
