We are living through difficult financial times, especially in the field of education and I am grateful that you took a chance on my project to ensure that my students had culturally relevant dolls and sensory materials to help build fine and gross motor skills. With your contributions, I was also able to receive a classroom laminator that helped me create classroom projects meant to last. \r\n\r\nMy students asked to play with the black baby doll every day during Free Choice time. Both boys and girls loved that doll and looked forward to playing pretend with it each day. Your donation also helped my students have an opportunity to play with colorful kinetic sand. The sand was a treat for them while simultaneously helping them focus, build their fine and gross motor skills, and practice sharing as they took turns building with it. The sand also helped me to teach them cooperation and responsibility as they learned how to play with it without making a mess and how to clean up after themselves neatly. \r\n\r\nMy students and I are grateful for your donations to our classroom.
