These features help my students to gain knowledge about the world around them while strengthening their comprehension and knowledge of the world around them.\r\n\r\nI love to see the excitement when the kids are reading. They often gather in small groups, taking turns reading the facts on each page. When they do this, they are taking turns, practicing oral speaking, reading fluency, and listening comprehension without even knowing it! \r\n\r\nThe kids were surprised to see the books on a brand new bookshelf when they returned from recess. They couldn't believe I built it all by myself! They have taken pride in organizing the books by series and it makes the classroom look nice and tidy.","fullyFundedDate":1744311531968,"projectUrl":"project/library-refresh/9247092/","projectTitle":"Library Refresh","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lang","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2086391_orig.jpg?crop=720,720,x0,y76&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1659580984385","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/tiffanylang"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_92223","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":555,"numTeachers":28,"percentFrplEligible":20,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":66,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":15,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"19.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":90.0,"schoolId":92223,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Mariners Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Mariners Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/newport-mesa-unified-school-district/mariners-elementary-school/92223"}
