Since our school is a Project-Based Learning (PBL) elementary school, the items purchased with your donation are used as students learn about a topic such as our first topic, \"What Makes Someone Great.\" \r\n\r\nWith this project, students have explored great people, character traits of those who become great and what makes each one of them great. Finally, all three classes of fourth graders prepare school wide slideshows for both lower and intermediate grade assemblies. Each month highlights students with certain character traits, such as Respect. Our fourth graders' slideshows are shared with students and parents. Other PBLs include \"CA History\" and \"Systems in Organisms.\"\r\n\r\nThe photos shared are of the project process, character traits and the items your donations purchased. The colored printer has been used for Canva posters defining traits and for student \"I Am GREAT\" paragraphs which include their photos.
