My students are ranging in grades from 9th-12th grade, in a self-contained program which emphasizes life skills based learning. My students are highly motivated and eager to learn. They wish to have the opportunity to learn cooking skills to be independent in their home or job setting. Independence is crucial for the development of self-worth and motivation to continue to grow as productive members of society.
