We created the table in a visible, welcoming space so students can access it with dignity and without having to explain themselves. It has quickly become a quiet but powerful support system on our campus.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the snack table, they could not believe it was available to them for free. Some were hesitant at first, unsure if it was really meant for them. Over time, though, they've embraced it in such a responsible and thoughtful way.
