The physical weight and texture of the manipulatives immediately turned \"math time\" into something that felt like a puzzle or a game rather than a chore.\r\nFor some, it reduces anxiety. For a 4th grader who knows some times tables but fears the ones they don't, the materials provide a safety net. As items began arriving they were enthusiastic about opening them and finding out what was inside. My students love using the whiteboard for subjects such as Math and ELA. \r\n\r\nMy students have loved the new additions to our calming corner. Luna is a class favorite, my students love using her to help regulate their big emotions. As kindergarteners they loved getting their very own play dough.
