The class has had an opportunity to use the paint set for their spring art tree. They learned about spring and they were able to paint what a tree looks like in spring. The colored paper has been used to make flowers using two dimensional shapes. This gave students the opportunity to learn that shapes can form objects. \r\nBefore these activities, I explained to the class that I had requested materials to help us with our learning. I let them know of the material I chose and how some nice people bought it for our class. When they heard about the paint, they were extremely excited and wanted to paint. I had to remind them that we would be using it, but not at that moment. I explained some of the activities they would be doing that would allow them to paint. \r\n\r\nI plan to continue having students paint the trees as they look in each season.
