I am so proud to report that all the first grade classes successfully shared the PE equipment. They learned to set up the games themselves, play together, get fit, and LOTS of FUN! \r\n\r\nThe students loved that they had brand new PE equipment, and they also showed responsibility by caring for the equipment. They begged to carry it out to the yard, and happily packed up the equipment all by themselves when it was time to clean up. Students even sorted and counted the pieces to make sure they didn't lose anything, and organized the equipment. The kids often cheer when I say we're going out for PE. \r\nThey take such pride in caring for the \"gifts\" from YOU, our Donors Choose angels! Extra gratitude to The Gates Foundation for matching funds to fast track this PE project!
