My students have been using the microscopes, test tubes, water droppers, and lab coats to explore, investigate, and feel like real scientists. One of our favorite classroom moments was when students used test tubes, water droppers, baking soda, vinegar, and red coloring to create a mini \"volcano eruption.\" They carefully used the droppers to add vinegar and watched with excitement as the mixture bubbled and overflowed. They asked questions, made observations, and used new vocabulary to describe what they saw.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the lab coats, goggles, microscopes, and science tools, they were immediately excited and curious. They loved dressing like scientists and taking on the role of investigators. These materials helped make science hands-on, meaningful, and engaging for young learners. Instead of just talking about science, they were able to touch, observe, experiment, and discover for themselves.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue building our scientist area so students can explore different materials, observe nature, and practice using their senses to describe what they notice. We will keep using the microscopes, test tubes, and droppers during science investigations connected to plants, insects, water, and other classroom discoveries. Your generosity gave my students more than supplies. Students were genuinely excited and grateful when they first saw the snack station stocked and ready for them. Many of them immediately said things like, \"Now I won't be hungry during class,\" and \"Thank you for having snacks for us.\" It helped create a sense of comfort and care in our classroom environment.\r\n\r\nWe use these resources daily, especially during long instructional blocks, independent work time, and testing days. I have already noticed students staying more focused, participating more in discussions, and feeling more comfortable asking for what they need. One especially meaningful moment was during a recent lesson when a student who usually struggles to stay engaged quietly grabbed a snack and water before starting work. That student stayed focused the entire lesson and proudly completed the assignment independently.\r\n\r\nHaving these snacks available also helps build a classroom community centered on support and kindness. Students know they are cared for, and that helps them feel safe and ready to learn. As we continue through the school year, these resources will support students during end-of-year projects, testing, and collaborative activities where focus and energy are especially important.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping create a classroom where students can learn with full bellies, focused minds, and the confidence that their needs matter. My fourth graders were thrilled when they saw the new Disney books added to our classroom library. Many students immediately rushed to find familiar characters and began sharing their favorite stories with one another. It was incredible to see even some of my more reluctant readers eagerly pick up books and start reading independently.\r\n\r\nThese new texts have already made a meaningful impact on our reading instruction. Students are using the books during independent reading, partner reading, small-group lessons, and fluency practice. Because the stories are familiar and engaging, students are more willing to take reading risks, practice expression while reading aloud, and work on comprehension skills such as identifying theme, character traits, sequencing events, and making inferences. The Walt Disney biographies have also helped students strengthen informational reading skills while learning about perseverance, creativity, and goal setting.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom has become an exciting and welcoming experience where students feel comfortable exploring books that truly interest them. I have noticed students recommending books to classmates, discussing characters during recess, and choosing to read during free moments throughout the day. Some students who previously struggled to stay engaged during reading time are now excited to participate because they feel connected to the stories and characters. Your support has helped create a classroom environment where students feel confident, motivated, and proud of their growth as readers.\r\n\r\nThank you again for helping make reading feel magical for my students. Fourth grade is a time of tremendous growth and change, and having access to hygiene and self-care items has helped my students feel more comfortable, confident, and prepared throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the hygiene cart fully stocked, many were excited and curious, while others were quietly relieved to know these resources were available to them. Several students immediately expressed gratitude for items like lotion, deodorant, lip balm, and hair accessories. What meant the most was seeing students feel safe accessing the supplies privately and respectfully, without embarrassment or fear of judgment. The hygiene cart has quickly become a normal and supportive part of our classroom community.\r\n\r\nThese resources are helping students build healthy habits and independence as they learn to care for themselves during this important stage of development. Because of your support, students are able to focus more on learning, participating in class discussions, collaborating with peers, and feeling confident throughout the school day. Moving forward, we will continue encouraging responsibility, self-care, and positive classroom routines so students can continue growing academically, socially, and emotionally.\r\n\r\nThank you again for helping create a classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported, and cared for. Your generosity has given my Pre-K students the chance to explore, wonder, and learn through hands-on experiences that truly match how young children grow. The magnetic boards have invited playful experiments and problem-solving, the gardening soil has allowed students to plant, dig, and care for living things, and the fish aquarium has brought a sense of calm, excitement, and daily wonder into our classroom. Because of you, science is no longer something they only hear about, it is something they can touch, observe, and experience for themselves each day.\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, their faces lit up with pure excitement and curiosity. They gathered around the discovery area eager to explore, ask questions, and share what they noticed with one another.
