The new technology has made a huge impact on my students. Students have been excited to find opportunities to design solutions, design, and print. They have been exploring and working together to find some unique and creative ideas for everyday problems.\r\n\r\nOne of the highlights this year was our door-stopper design competition. We kept struggling to hold our door open with a chair, so the students decided to fix the problem themselves. They created their own designs, printed them, and were so excited when they actually worked. They've also been using the filament for holiday projects and exploring different 3D design programs, becoming more confident with each design they make.\r\n\r\nSome of my quieter students have especially grown through this project. They feel proud sharing their creations and helping others with new ideas. As we move into future projects like our egg drop challenge, I'm so grateful to you for giving them the tools to explore, invent, and believe in what they can do. This setup allows them to build coordination, endurance, and teamwork skills while having fun and staying active. \r\n\r\nThe moment the students first saw the new materials, their faces lit up with joy and curiosity. Many of them immediately started asking questions and making plans with their classmates about what they wanted to try first. It was heartwarming to see their enthusiasm, especially from those who don't always feel confident in sports. The variety of equipment gave everyone a chance to shine. Looking ahead, we're incorporating these tools into a unit focused on goal setting and personal fitness progress. Students will track their improvement in areas like speed, balance, and flexibility, helping them build a sense of ownership and pride in their physical development.
