My 6th grade students are making great progress this school year! They are working hard to meet our academic goals. In my class I have 32 students. They are English speaking students, English Learners plus 4 mainstreamed students. All of them are cooperative and like to help each other in their everyday learning. We are a PK-6 school, part of a wonderful community of various backgrounds mainly Latino and Asian descent. We are a title one school, which means that the majority of our students qualify for free or reduced price meals. Additionally, many of our students stay on the free after school programs because their hard working parents need help with daycare assistance.
