Thanks to the generous support of our donors, each child will now have access to a phonics phone—a simple but powerful tool that helps students hear their own voices more clearly as they practice letter sounds and early reading skills.\r\n\r\nMany of our students are currently performing well below grade level in foundational literacy areas. They struggle not only with phonological awareness—like recognizing and producing sounds—but also with staying focused during learning activities. The phonics phones will help improve both. By amplifying their own voices directly into their ears, students are more engaged, more attentive, and better able to connect sounds to letters.\r\n\r\nThis intervention gives our young learners a chance to build the skills they need to become confident readers. For children with disabilities, it's especially meaningful—they now have a tool that supports their unique learning needs in a way that's both fun and effective.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our students and making this project possible. As I opened each box, gasps and cheers filled the room. The sight of colorful toys, birthday crowns, stickers, and pencils lit up their faces with pure joy. \r\nWe've already started putting the materials to use. Just last month, we celebrated our first classroom birthdays using the new resources. I filled a gift bag with treats, and presented it to the birthday students. The birthday students wore their crowns proudly all day.\r\n\r\n Looking ahead, I can see myself asking a few students to help me put together the birthday treat bags every month we have birthdays. This will make the students feel like they are a part of preparing a special gift for their friends. They're not just celebrating each other—they're practicing empathy, creativity, and kindness.\r\n\r\n Thank you again for making this all possible.
