Our students loved having the calming corner. They use this space a lot. Originally this was going to be our reading corner but the students love this space so much that they use it for everything. Students often use it to work with a friend on an assignment. Sometime they will use it when they come in from Recess or Lunch. If they had a problem outside, they often sit in this space to reflect or to just have a quiet moment where they distress. \r\nLastly, we use this space for book club. I am able to meet with the groups here and we read \"Wish\" or \"Where the Mountain Meets the Moon\" and we have discussions.
