I have noticed my students' abilities to describe and name their feelings grow from the beginning of the school year to now. Because of this, I am better able to understand and help them navigate through any big emotions they may encounter throughout their day. The calm corner in my classroom is the most loved and used corner of the room. Students have used the feelings and self-soothing posters to really help them calm down and get back to the green zone.
