Collaboratively, our attendance team makes daily efforts to reduce chronic absenteeism and we try to think outside the box. In doing so, we have found out that incentives not only encourages attendance but has actually increased our data. \r\n\r\nHaving a visual display of items helps our students set a personal goal when addressing attendance. We make an effort to reward those students who not only have perfect attendance, but also those that are making an effort on a daily basis. One of the most favorite items in the display case are the scented pencils and stickers. \r\n\r\nThank you LOFT for thinking of our students.
