The impact these materials have made on my students has been immediate and meaningful. When the students first saw the new items, their excitement was contagious—they could hardly wait to try everything out. During independent work time, students were eager for a turn on the wobble stools or to sit together at the new table, and they take great pride in using these special learning spaces responsibly.\r\n\r\nThese materials have truly enhanced flexible learning in our classroom. We use the small group table daily for targeted instruction, collaboration, and guided practice. The wobble chairs give students the freedom to move while learning, helping them stay focused and engaged, especially when they need an outlet for extra energy. Students also love using the lap boards while lying on the rug to read, write, and work comfortably in a space that feels right for them. Having these options empowers students to choose how they learn best, and it has made our classroom a more inclusive, productive, and joyful place. Thank you again for investing in our students and supporting their learning in such a meaningful way.","fullyFundedDate":1760629531847,"projectUrl":"project/seats-surfaces-and-smiles-support-sma/9804432/","projectTitle":"Seats, Surfaces, and Smiles: Support Small Group Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Martinez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6714124_orig.png?crop=288,288,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1655479865981","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6714124"},{"teacherId":9341507,"projectId":9750685,"letterContent":"I want to thank you so very much for the donation of snacks to my 5th grade classroom. The look of surprise on their faces when I brought in Amazon box after box of goodies. I opened the boxes and put them in the \"critter free\" containers I also asked for. They are displayed nicely behind my desk and serve as a reminder to be mindful of respect and perseverance! I use the snacks in two different ways. I have a class banking system, so when students are on task or caught being good, I send them pretend cash to their bank accounts. Every two weeks, kids get to shop in the class store and often the #1 item is food! I tried to pick snacks that were not filled with sugar or salt. My school prides itself on teaching good food choices since each class has its own garden bed and we grow our own vegetables and herbs. Another way I have used the snacks is to treat my students when they have achieved an accomplishment as a class. We got the attendance award a few months back, so I let each student pick a snack from the class store. What an attendance incentive! Thanks!\r\n\r\n I thought the snacks would be gone by December, but we actually have enough left to last us another month or two. Thank you so much.","fullyFundedDate":1759159545511,"projectUrl":"project/gobble-away-the-growing-pains/9750685/","projectTitle":"Gobble Away the Growing Pains","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Harris","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9341507"},{"teacherId":6714124,"projectId":6518586,"letterContent":"The donation of 3D pens has had an incredible impact on our classroom, transforming the way students engage with hands-on learning and creativity. As part of our garden project, students used the 3D pens to design and create detailed models of flowers, learning about plant structures in a tangible and engaging way. When the pens were first introduced, the excitement in the room was electric. Students in the room were amazed by the opportunity to turn their ideas into real, dimensional creations. The tools immediately sparked curiosity and enthusiasm for engineering and design. \r\n\r\nThanks to this generous donation, students were able to take ownership of their learning through a truly interactive experience. The 3D pens allowed them to visualize and build complex shapes, reinforcing STEM concepts in a memorable, meaningful way. This kind of hands-on exploration has not only deepen their understanding of science and engineering but has also inspired confidence, collaboration, and a newfound passion for innovation in the classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1660602307472,"projectUrl":"project/3doodling-our-way-through-fourth-grade/6518586/","projectTitle":"3Doodling Our Way Through Fourth Grade!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Martinez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6714124_orig.png?crop=288,288,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1655479865981","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6714124"},{"teacherId":6714124,"projectId":4395402,"letterContent":"The donation of these Chromebooks has truly had a transformative impact on the students in my classroom. With these devices, every student now has the opportunity to engage in digital learning, access online resources, and complete assignments more efficiently. We've created a dedicated research area in the classroom where students can explore topics, gather information, and use the Chromebooks to type essays and complete projects. This access has been especially meaningful for those who do not have a computer at home, leveling the playing field and ensuring that all students can participate fully in our academic activities. \r\n\r\nThis excitement in the classroom has been incredible since the arrival of the Chromebooks.
