One of my favorite moments was when students completed their first working circuit. The second their lights turned on, the room filled with excitement—there were cheers, big smiles, and lots of \"Wait, mine works too!\" moments. It was such a proud moment for them.\r\n\r\nFor many of my students, this was their first time using tools like wire strippers, and they took that responsibility seriously. They were so focused and careful, and you could see their confidence grow as they figured things out on their own.\r\n\r\nThey then applied what they learned by creating their own buildings using three lights and a switch that could turn everything on and off. The creativity was amazing—students made their favorite shops. Seeing their ideas light up (literally!) was really special.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, they were immediately excited and full of questions. They couldn't wait to get started, and that excitement carried through the entire project.\r\n\r\nNext, we're going to keep building on this by exploring more complex circuits and continuing to think like engineers—testing ideas, making improvements, and solving problems together.\r\n\r\nThank you again for giving my students this hands-on experience. This kind of active learning helps concepts really stick.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for my students is that they get to make the music themselves. When they first used the boomwhackers, the room instantly filled with smiles, laughter, and beats. They were thrilled to match colors to notes, work together to create songs, and even recreate rhythms from music they love. Especially since they've been obsessed with K-pop and have already been tapping beats on their desks!\r\n\r\nSeveral students who are usually quieter or hesitant to participate have really warmed up to this resource. Music has given them a new way to express themselves and feel confident contributing to the group. Seeing students who don't always shine in traditional lessons light up and take the lead during music time has been incredibly rewarding.
