I am the only general education Pre-Kindergarten teacher at my school. My program is comprised of 2 groups of students and their parents. Fours mornings a week I spend time playing, painting, singing, and learning, all which help to form the foundation of the child's education with 18 amazing students. Then I take a short break, reset and do it all over again with another group of 18 fabulous students in the afternoon. The Pre-K program also encourages parent participation, so I am able to really get to know my students and their families. This helps me to provide each student with the best possible school experience because the parents and I are working together. Most of my students are in school for the first time. Many are also being exposed to the English Language for the first time. It is a year full of changes, fun, and of course academic and social growth.
