Our Bears are rock stars! The majority of my students come from low-income families, but that does not stop them from learning! We are a Title l school with a school-wide breakfast program and more than 80% of the students receiving free or reduced-price lunch. Half of my students go to state-funded after school programs on campus. They give me the drive and purpose. At school, they are happy and there with one purpose, to achieve. "An investment in knowledge pays the best interest," stated Benjamin Franklin. In my classroom, students become college-prepared and empowered to become lifelong learners with professional careers. They are striving daily to become global citizens who will make a positive difference in the world regardless of their background or socioeconomic status. We are leaving our future to them when we retire. Let's make the right investment for our future. Thank you for your support!
