Because of your generosity, I've been able to bring in materials that students truly use every day—not just once, but consistently across subjects. The TPT gift card has allowed me to strengthen our science curriculum, especially during our unit on ecosystems, producers, consumers, and decomposers, by adding engaging lessons and supplemental resources that meet students at their level and deepen understanding.\r\n\r\nStudents were especially excited about the hands-on materials. The pony beads have quickly become a staple during Fun Friday choice time, bringing together students who may not normally work side by side and giving them space to create, connect, and express themselves. The Colors of the World crayons are incredibly meaningful—students often ask to use them because they feel \"special,\" and we've had powerful conversations about representation and belonging as I remind them that these crayons are for all of us. Dry erase paddles are used constantly in math, giving every student a voice and allowing me to do quick, individual checks for understanding in real time. Sharpies help make my modeling visible during instruction, and Elmer's glue is always in rotation for science and math journals.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, my students have access to materials that support learning, creativity, and community building all at once. These resources continue to shape our daily instruction and classroom culture, and they will be used as we move into future science projects, collaborative learning tasks, and reflection work. Thank you for believing in my students and for investing in a classroom where every child feels seen, capable, and excited to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1757541120463,"projectUrl":"project/color-outside-the-lines-empowering-art/9427538/","projectTitle":"Color Outside the Lines: Empowering Art & Identity","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Uche","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2620608_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1750315980192","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2620608"},{"teacherId":5205217,"projectId":8109523,"letterContent":"In our first-grade classroom, every day is filled with discovery, growth, and new challenges. I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation to our sixth grade classroom. Your contribution has made a significant impact on our students' learning experience, and we are truly appreciative of your support.\r\n\r\nThanks to your donation, we have been able to enhance our math instruction by incorporating a variety of hands-on manipulatives into our lessons. These visual tools have allowed our students to better understand abstract mathematical concepts, making learning more engaging and accessible. Whether it's through using base-ten blocks, fraction strips, or geometric shapes, students are now able to physically interact with the math they're learning. This hands-on approach has not only deepened their understanding but has also sparked a greater interest in the subject.\r\n\r\nWe have already begun to notice improvements in student confidence and participation during math time. Students who once struggled with abstract concepts are now able to grasp them more easily, thanks to the tangible learning tools you've helped provide.
