Book Bags are a vital part of the organizational structure for my Reading Workshop. From my classroom leveled library, they can pick 5 new books for them to read the next week. Choosing from the leveled library ensures that they are reading books at the correct ability level and keeping them in a personal book bag grants them freedom of choice. \r\n\r\nWhen my students saw the new Book Bags, they were very excited. The old bags they were using were falling apart and breaking.
