I am looking forward to the opportunity to spark a love for reading in my 5th Graders this coming school year. Due to public libraries and school closures in the past year and a half, students have not had access to a wide variety of books that they can read for pleasure. I would love the opportunity to provide them with a classroom library full of books that interest them with characters they can relate to. With this selection of books, students will be able to make a selection that fits their reading level, allowing them to read independently.

About my class
