Pictures is our calm down corner complete with all the colorful and soft cushions, the soft lamp lighting, and drawers to keep all our favorite soothing things! My student were immediately drawn to the comfort of this new space. Many have used it multiple times per day since we brought it all in. It is their favorite place to take a break and rest or just sit and read their favorite book! \r\nSome of my items were out of stock so we chose the fun stepping stones for the playground. These have benefited not only my students, but my neighbor teacher's as well! The kids love taking turns balancing on the stones! \r\n\r\nWe also got some much needed colored paper for our fun art projects! This new kitchen was set up while the students were in winter break. It was so fun to see their faces light up when they came in Monday morning! They have had so much fun making and serving each other play food, playing restaurant, and enjoying their friend time! \r\nThese students get one free play center each day and this is an instant favorite! The table that came with it is perfect for them to sit and work with the different foods we have exploring the textures and other sensory fun, as well! The only problem is they ALL want to use it at the same time!
