Your generosity has made a lasting difference—not just for one classroom, but across multiple schools.\r\n\r\nBefore my recent transfer to a new school site, we used the 3D printer to promote positive behavior through our PBIS system. Students earned the chance to design and print their own creations—a powerful motivator that sparked creativity and engagement.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, we expanded the reach of the printer by producing fidget ball tools for special education classrooms across several district sites. These simple yet effective items have supported students who benefit from sensory tools to maintain focus and reduce anxiety.\r\n\r\nThough I am no longer at the original school, I am proud to share that the printer continues to benefit students across the district. What started as a classroom tool has grown into a resource for special programs throughout our schools—thanks to your support.\r\n\r\nYour donation is making a difference far beyond its original scope, and we are so grateful for your role in that success.","fullyFundedDate":1746786244625,"projectUrl":"project/empowering-future-innovators-with-3d-pri/9145501/","projectTitle":"Empowering Future Innovators with 3D Printing","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Lung","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9936686_orig.jpg?crop=848,848,x0,y16&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1741633746292","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9936686"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_97905","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":300,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":85,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":13,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":81,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Weighted Average","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":92.9,"schoolId":97905,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about North Kern Community School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"North Kern Community School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/kern-county-office-of-education/north-kern-community-school/97905"}
