It makes daily planning and printing a lot more manageable, especially when teachers want to print on the go for students but can't leave the classroom to access the work room. We were able to set up this color printer in the classroom and connected to the school network and to my devices so we can easily print both black and colored copies for classroom displays and student projects. My students are very grateful for this resource since it saves us a lot of time and effort when we can print from the comfort of our desks in the classroom. As a fun and creative assignment, my students used the sharpie makers from this donation to create their own art piece. Students learned about surficial textures or the look of it in this art lesson. Each student was able to produce their own interpretation of the cactus bowl. I believe this is the beauty of art since each artwork is unique to its artist and students had so much fun doing this type of art! Each student created a unique piece of their very own timeline talking about their lives from birth to present day. It was a very successful first class project! Many students provided positive feedback on the usage of this resource and said it definitely help them when they can't recall a particular Chinese vocabulary, especially the ones they haven't learn yet.
