Being an Accelerated Learning Lab teacher, I had to think of a way students can excel at their learning. What better way to understand the 21st Century with STEAM! They will become comfortable with technology and get a feel of how some careers work in the 21st Century. They will be able to discover and explore new ways of learning. Using Botley, Sphero, Cozmo and Lego WeDO 2.0 will help the students understand what coding is and how it programs their favorite games. With the merge cubes, students will be able to "hold" a heart and see how it pumps, or hold the sun in their hands. This is a great tool for students to see the world. By reading stories of Growth Mindset and scientists/engineers, students will become one themselves. I am excited to teach K-6th all the different ways to explore and create using STEAM!
