With the addition of my new color printer, the Assessment Score Reports that I utilize will be able to be delivered to students in color. The individual whiteboards and dry erase markers will let students participate in on-the-spot formative assessment to provide checks of learning. Rulers, erasers, Post-its, and other classroom supplies will let students show their best work, make corrections, and grow in their understanding of mathematical concepts. \r\n\r\nI would be remiss to not mention that all of these things are materials that teachers must buy out of pocket if they want to provide them to their students. Thanks to you, part of that financial burden will be lifted off my shoulders for years to come!","fullyFundedDate":1782328727473,"projectUrl":"project/feedback-tools-that-fuel-growth/10351046/","projectTitle":"Feedback Tools That Fuel Growth","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ahrens","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10537840"},{"teacherId":10537840,"projectId":10352880,"letterContent":"As a high school math teacher, one of the most import jobs we have is to create a warm and welcoming classroom space.\r\n\r\nI returned to school last week on Thursday, and I was so grateful to spend part of one day unpacking all of the items I received in this DonorsChoose project. The items I received will help transform my classroom into an environment where students feel comfortable, supported, and ready to learn. \r\n\r\nI installed the chair bands on the student desk chairs. They fit perfectly and will give students an outlet for their sensory needs, helping them stay focused and engaged throughout the school day. I also installed the fluorescent light covers and they diffuse the harsh fluorescent lights beautifully, which will reduce eye strain and help students focus. The pencils, pens, Clorox wipes, and tissues will ensure that students have access to the materials they need to participate fully in class activities, regardless of their circumstances. And the thermal laminator will be key to have in creating bulletin boards, word walls, and more!\r\n\r\nI cannot thank you enough for choosing to fund this project through DonorsChoose. It will make such a difference to me this year having these supplies stocked.","fullyFundedDate":1782600689438,"projectUrl":"project/building-a-comfortable-space-for-learnin/10352880/","projectTitle":"Building a Comfortable Space for Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ahrens","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10537840"},{"teacherId":6377692,"projectId":9649589,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the new texts! \r\nWhen teaching this book, students were exposed to historical, geographical and cultural information about the Spanish-speaking world in a way that also reinforces their language learning. Two of favorite parts about reading Spanish texts in class is that students find the language more real and concrete when they see that there are books published in that language, and also reading in Spanish reinforces their reading skills in English and vice-versa! \r\nThis particular text we read as a whole class, two chapters a day. Sometimes they would listen to me read as they followed along in their copies, and other days they read with a partner or a small group. Occasionally they would read a chapter on their own, and then follow up with a class activity to review. Your purchase made it possible for us to have the flexibility in how they would read because we had enough copies of the text for everyone to follow along in their own book. This also really helps with classroom management because there are less opportunities for distraction when students are not sharing a book. Again, thank you so much!","fullyFundedDate":1756409955975,"projectUrl":"project/spanish-library-books/9649589/","projectTitle":"Spanish Library Books","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Marie LoPrell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6377692_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y433&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1670956186525","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6377692"},{"teacherId":6377692,"projectId":9662096,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the donation of these books.
