These materials will help students see firsthand how an understanding of the physical world can help you survive in unforeseen circumstances. In conjunction with the toolkit, students will be writing a Survival Handbook that talks about the physics behind some of the components of their survival toolkit. For example, they will use their understanding of optics to explain the magnifying glass and mirror, and they will use their understanding of Earth's magnetic field to explain how their compass functions. Please help these students gain access to necessary survival tools that they can use alongside their survival handbooks.
