Many donors are familiar with technology at home, but in our classroom, even something as simple as a USB-C adapter has a huge impact. It allows us to connect our Chromebooks and instructional tools without interruption, which means students can access digital assignments, read-aloud supports, and interactive activities that help them learn at their own pace. For several of my SDC students, technology is the bridge that allows them to participate confidently, and having reliable access has been a game changer.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students the most, though, are the new supplies and incentives. The fidget tools have created moments of joy and calm for students who struggle with focus or anxiety. The snacks have made state-testing days and long lessons feel more manageable, helping students stay motivated and energized. \r\n\r\nOne of my students who often becomes overwhelmed during lessons has especially warmed up to the new fidget tools and digital access.
