I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to provide my students with a Harry Potter Podcast Corner. This will allow my 8th grade students, who by the way do NOT want to read books, to engage in reading, discussing, sharing, and creating multi-media projects all about Harry's adventures with his friends. My kids are very skilled with technology, and I believe will engage them with excitement and motivate them to read and discuss these amazing books. Creating a podcast involves working with others to plan, write, prepare, read, discuss, and many other skills that will grow their reading, writing, and language skills. The pandemic has not been good for my kids, and they are behind academically. With engaging activities like this, we can help bring these amazing, resilient students to the grade level they need to be at to enter high school.
