My students are learning to use letters on the iPad and also apps to learn literacy. Since we had the iPads my students are navigating by creating pictures on drawings through an app called Starfall, which is an educational app that is age appropriate for students. My students got really excited when I told them we got the iPads donated. They were so eager to use them during small group stations. All my students have really enjoyed getting this technology experience and learning a new way of implementing letter recognition, letter sounds, numerals and drawing.
