Your kindness made a real difference in my mild-to-moderate special education classroom. We are so grateful for the wobbly chairs, Clorox wipes, tissues, scanning pens, board games, and fidgets you helped provide.\r\n\r\nMy students were thrilled when the materials arrived. Their eyes lit up when they saw the colorful fidgets and scanning pens. Several kids immediately asked if they could try the wobbly chairs during reading time. One of my reluctant learners, who often struggles to stay seated, sat on a wobbly chair for the first time and exclaimed, \"This helps my brain think!\" We've already used the board games during social skills time to practice turn-taking and cooperation, and the scanning pens have made independent reading much more engaging for students with dyslexia and processing challenges. \r\n\r\nThe Clorox wipes and tissues keep our space clean and safe, which is especially important for my students who need a calm, predictable environment.Because of your support, my students now have flexible seating options, tools to help them focus, and games that build social-emotional skills. We think of you every time we use these new resources and feel a little more supported and cared for. Thank you again for believing in my students and helping make our classroom a better place to learn and grow.","fullyFundedDate":1769177354513,"projectUrl":"project/make-room-5-great/9832066/","projectTitle":"Make Room 5 Great!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hughes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9111685"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_77430","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":509,"numTeachers":18,"percentFrplEligible":80,"percentAsian":10,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":22,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":53,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"28.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":86.2,"schoolId":77430,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Eaton Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Eaton Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/fresno-unified-school-district/eaton-elementary-school/77430"}
