My students have had a wonderful time using the safari animals. They are requesting items using sentences describing the animals and answering questions about animals. They also enjoyed the Mr. Potato Head games. My preschool students love to ask for body parts, and they are expanding their vocabulary. My older students love the Super Duper Wh questions game. They are learning how to answer who, what, where, when, and why questions. \r\nI can use these toys to help students understand and use language effectively. I have also found that these toys help to motivate my articulation students. They practice their sounds using drill picture cards. Once they have said around 3-5 cards, they can ask to get a piece of any number of the toys. \r\nMy bilingual students really appreciate the bilingual bingo from Scholastic. They are learning new words every day with this game. \r\nMy students love to come to speech, and they don't even realize they are working on expanding their expressive and receptive language skills.\r\nYour generous donation means the world to me and my students.
