Children in my special needs class learn best through play. Through the use of LEGO bricks and tiles sand children can not only build and interact with each other, but they can apply literacy, science, math, and social studies concepts. Through the use of LEGO bricks and tiles students can use their imagination to build and create while learning to share and build friendship. The possibilities are endless. Additionally, my students love to play and exercise outdoors with fun equipment. We don't have much in the classroom to fully enjoy the outdoors. Hula hoops and dodge ball are popular at our school and it would be amazing if my students can have their own.
