This wonderful cart has become an important part of our daily classroom routine and has been even more useful than I originally imagined!\r\n\r\nI primarily use the cart to organize and store our circle time materials so that everything we need is easily accessible during group activities. I have also posted our daily visual schedule on the cart. Throughout the day, my students interact with the schedule to see what we are doing now and what is coming next. For my young learners, this visual support makes our day more predictable and helps them better understand classroom routines and transitions.\r\n\r\nThe magnetic whiteboard has been another incredibly useful feature. I can attach our visual timer directly to the cart during circle time and other activities. My students can look at the timer to understand how much time is left and when we will be transitioning to the next activity. Some students independently approach the cart to check our schedule, making it an interactive learning tool rather than simply a place for storage.\r\n\r\nI have also posted our circle time rules on the cart. These visual reminders are especially helpful during circle time because I can quickly point to them to remind students of expectations, such as sitting with the group, listening, keeping safe hands, and participating. Having the schedule, timer, rules, and learning materials all together in one accessible place has helped bring more structure and consistency to our circle time routine.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, I plan to keep adapting the cart to meet my students' needs by organizing our circle time materials, displaying visual supports, and using it to help students participate more independently in our daily routines.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for making this resource possible. Items such as balls, balance equipment, sensory materials, and other hands-on play resources encourage children to strengthen their gross motor skills, coordination, body awareness, problem-solving, and ability to follow simple routines and directions.\r\n\r\nThese materials also help empower our students by giving them opportunities to make choices, try new activities, and experience success at their own developmental level. Outdoor play can support sensory regulation and provide a healthy way for students to release energy, manage emotions, and prepare themselves for learning. For children who communicate through gestures, signs, pictures, or other forms of multimodal communication, outdoor activities also create natural opportunities to request, make choices, communicate with adults and peers, and express their needs.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, quality outdoor materials help create an inclusive environment where every child can participate, build confidence, and develop a sense of belonging. Through cooperative games and shared play experiences, students can practice turn-taking, waiting, sharing, initiating interactions, and playing alongside their peers. This year has been so much easier with prep and materials wise - I've spent more of my time in therapy and less time on prep and paperwork - thanks to all your support. The lamination sheets and velcro dots make prep a breeze when preparing any new materials for the kids, so thank you so much! Having materials and toys that the kids love has made such a difference and I am so grateful for each and every one of you! \r\nI have used the WH question cards to better understand which questions my kids were having a more difficult time with - I have never had such an easy grab and go resource that has worked so well. The articulation cards are also AMAZING. One of my students and I had the best time using this resource and he got so many reps in of his target sounds in the medial position! His articulation has come such a long way. The toy resources (the music instruments, the picasso / family magnatiles) have been such a help too. One of my students played with the magnatiles for the whole session - and we worked on spatial concepts, identifying family members, and worked on articulation drills throughout it.
