The sunshine's I teach are 3-5 year old with intensive needs diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. My classroom is play based, open ended tasks and process art based that fosters creativity and exploration. We focus on social emotional learning, motor skills, play skills and pre-academic skills. Preschool is the first time many students attend school and I want to make it a fun learning environment for them love school and build trust in the teacher from their first day of school in their life.
